Most people never think about growing things, and so it was with me. That is until a seemingly insignificant event occurred right in my own backyard which, for lack of a better phrase, planted the seed for an interest that has recently blossomed into a full fledged and fairly serious hobby. A long time ago there was an old pumpkin that needed disposing of, so naturally I took a sledge hammer to it, laughed a little, then walked away. From its slimy and rotted carcass eventually sprouted forth the beginnings of a new pumpkin plant. I was amazed and have slowly found growing a more and more fascinating subject ever since. In this blog I plan to chronicle all my growing experiences; my successes, failures, experiments, and postulations. This blog reflects what growing is to me. Enjoy! page 5 page 4 page 3 page 2 page 1
